Dear Sirs:

The Blues Club, Inc. is currently spearheading the construction of a permanent bandshell at Craighead Forest Park. We feel that Jonesboro has a rich heritage in all of the performing arts and that an open air stage at the park would enhance both music and theater performances. We would like to invite you to become part of this project.

The concrete pad has been poured and we are now ready to begin construction. The band shell is large enough to accommodate a small symphony or theater production. The bandshell will have a rustic appearance designed to blend in with the surroundings. By providing an alternative to the traditional indoor auditorium, the bandshell will be an asset to the park and the community.

The support of the community is crucial to the success of the Bandshell Project and we are asking you to join us in completing this project. We are seeking additional funds and materials to finish the bandshell. A plaque will be hung on the wall of the finished structure with a list of those who have contributed to the project. Or you may remain annonymous if you so choose.
