Blues Fest 94 was the first Blues Fest held at Pavilion 6 across the lake from earlier Blues Fests. It was held Sunday, September 4th from Noon to Dark and featured the following acts.

Sonny Burgess joined Larry Donn for his set. Paul Richardson joined Frank Frost and Sam Carr on the organ filling out the Jelly Roll Kings sound.

Frank Frost joined Hairy Larry and the Flying Hungarians for a couple of harmonica instrumentals during their set. One of these cuts is included on the Flying Hungarians Love Stuff tape.

Blues Fest 94 was taped on DAT and on videotape. Many cuts from the festival have been featured on Something Blue, Saturday nights on KASU, 91.9 FM.

Larry Donn and the Killer Possum Band were joined by Jonathan and Hairy Larry at the ASU-TV studios about two weeks before Blues Fest 94 to shoot a half hour show used to promote Blues Fest. Since then this show has been entered in several national competitions.

The West Finch Blues Band's set at Blues Fest 94 was featured in an ASU-TV/HLTV documentary produced by Mike Pry. Mike included their whole set in a half hour show with good video and excellent audio. This show was aired several times in Jonesboro.
