This was Clarence Turner's 2nd Blues Fest performance. He sings like a
bird and crows like a rooster. He counterpoints his comedic talent with
show stopping renditions of such classics as "A Change is Gonna Come"

Da Fellas
Da Fellas are composed of five incredibly talented young men. They
harmonize perfectly through R&B, Soul, and Blues originals and all time
favorites.

Leon Gambill
Leon Gambill is the stuff of Rock and Roll, recording his first rock and
roll song in 1951. He performed at hops, dives, and shuckins throughout
the delta.

Kyle Timms
New Blues talent is important. Kyle Timms brought his own guitar style
to Blues Fest. The Timms family has a long history in Blues and Rock
and Roll. Father Tommy Timms was part of The Pacers in the '50s.

Mark Sallings and the Famous Unknowns

Mack Self and The Silver Dollar Band
Mack recorded at Sun in the early 50s. Like many of the early Sun
artists he was required to do the circuit and he performed in
gymnasiums, halls, and clubs all around the delta.

Suzanne Michell
Suzanne Michell is a teacher who can do too. Her extraordinary singing
voice carries her through any genre. She performs blues, folk, jazz,
celtic, and just about any other style you can think of.

Tuesday Blues
Tuesday Blues began performing in the late 60's. They went their
seperate ways as bands sometimes do. Reuniting for Blues Fest 96
brought them together once again. They now perform regularly around the
northern delta.

Terry Ray Bradley
Terry recorded "Red Hair and Green Eyes" at Alley when he was 14 and he
still plays a lot of good old fashioned Rock and Roll.

Uncle Fred the Deadhead
Fred Wilson affectionately known as Uncle Fred is a songwriter, poet,
talented musician, comedian, and a bio-chemist. Brains and beauty, too.
